WELCOME TO SWEETWATER VALLEY C.A.M.P

 

 
   Sweetwater Valley C.A.M.P. provides services to citizens of South Cobb County living in the communities of Austell, Mableton, Clarkdale, and Powder Springs. A coalition of local churches, business, civic groups and individuals, C.A.M.P. was founded in December 1968 by Rev. G. Wallace Kilpatrick of Austell First Baptist Church, Father Bill Hoffman of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and Rev. Joshua "JC" Carter of New Hope Baptist Church in Powder Springs. 

With the help of many dedicated volunteers, generous donations and special grants, our organization has grown from a small clothing distribution center to an agency which has assisted thousands of citizens with food, clothing, and emergency financial assistance for rent, utilities, and medical prescriptions. In addition to our daily operations of a food pantry and clothing distribution center, we offer special gift programs at Easter, Christmas, Back to School, and for newborn babies.  Our facilities are open to the public Monday thru Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon - Closed Sundays.

Sweetwater Valley Community Action Mission Program is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and all contributions and gifts are tax deductible.
