Eligibility Requirements
We offer assistance
to low-income residents of Austell,
Clarkdale, Lithia Springs,
Mableton and Powder Springs.
NOTE:
Registration and verification of
documentation is required every 6
months. |

To Apply for
Services Clients Must Provide:

Photo ID of
person applying for assistance
-
Current
proof of address (less than 30 days old)
showing the name and address of the
person applying for service. For
example:
-
New
Lease (within 30 days)
-
Current
Bill (water, gas, electricity)
-
Current
Rent Receipt
-
ID's on all
household members. For Example:
-
Social
Security cards
-
Birth
certificates
-
School
ID
Please Note: An applicant can apply for services for
themselves, their spouse, their dependent
children under 18 years of age, a disabled
adult household member, and an adult
household member over 65 years of age. All
other adults in the household and all
children over the age of 18 (unless they are
full-time students) must apply in person.
We cannot register partial households.

Unemployment Certification/Separation notice

Verification of Employee Gross
Income
OR
If a client is currently approved for any
public assistance such as Food Stamps,
Housing Assistance, TANF/Welfare, WIC,
Medicaid, Peach Care, or Free/Reduced School
Lunch, they do not have to provide proof of
income. They can simply provide a letter of
current certification on the appropriate
agency letterhead describing the benefit
they are currently receiving.
Please NOTE: If these documents are not available, clients may
receive one-time emergency assistance with
food and return at a later date with the
appropriate documentation.
